Palm Springs Good Neighbor Equality Award Nomination Open til Sept 28

For over a decade, Equality California has recognized leaders who have made important contributions to our efforts to achieve equality at our annual Equality Awards events across the state.

This year, YOU will help to select the honorees! Equality California has partnered with State Farm Insurance to honor dedicated individuals in local communities who are working to make a difference in the lives of lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender people with the Good Neighbor Equality Award.

From your nominations we will select one Good Neighbor Equality Award recipient in each of the San Francisco, Palm Springs, San Diego and Los Angeles areas who will be recognized on stage at the 2012 Equality Awards.

If your nominee is selected, you may be eligible to receive complimentary tickets for you and a guest to attend the awards and watch your nominee receive the award on stage! *Note: because space is limited, should multiple individuals nominate the same person each of those individuals will be entered into a drawing to determine which nominator will receive complimentary tickets to the awards.

September 20 -23, Cinema Diverse - Palm Springs Gay Lesbian Film Festival

Actress Morgan Fairchild, well-known for her roles in “Dallas” and “Falcon Crest,” will be in Palm Springs this weekend to attend the Cinema Diverse screening ofeCupid. Fairchild, who plays the mysterious waitress, Venus, in eCupid, will attend the screening at 4pm on Saturday, September 24th, and participate in the Q&A session immediately following the screening.eCupid writer/director and co-producer, J.C. Calciano, as well as cast members,Joe Komora, Michael Manning, Chris Rubiez, Matthew Scott Lewis andGary Riotto, will also attend the screening and the Q&A Session.
